I'm excited to run my first D&D one shot with my regular group, taking on the role of DM myself this time. We're using new characters I've created for them to fit seamlessly into the story. The coin serves as a unique mechanism to rectify a player's mistake when using a character ability that an experienced player wouldn't make. It also doubles as an Inspiration Point, but only in one capacity and once. This is not an opportunity for retrying a failed action; it's a chance to revise a critical decision made during gameplay.
