The connecting link that attaches the piston rod to the valve chest near the front of a vintage 1986 New Bright toy train model. The authentic piece featured a black base with distinctive white stripes. This versatile part can fit seamlessly onto the left side of the train, and if necessary, it can be mirrored to complement the right side perfectly as well. Although it should slide smoothly into place, the connection point where it attaches to the main train body will likely require adhesive to secure firmly in position.
