New Bright Ford Raptor Steering Knuckles

thingiverse

This is a steering knuckle replacement designed specifically for the New Bright Ford Raptor truck. Unfortunately, the original design has a serious flaw - it wears out extremely quickly and the toe can become distorted in a short amount of time until the spindle completely wears through. In contrast, this new design is more robust and requires only a few parts from your local hardware store to assemble, but the end result is a sturdy knuckle with a steel spindle that can withstand heavy use. To attach the outer tie rod end, I used a nylon screw, although you may prefer to stick with the original steel screw if you prefer. One thing's for sure - no threading is required. The spindle itself is a 10/32 bolt extension that has been secured with just a tiny dab of super glue on the threads to prevent it from coming loose during use. When fastening the wheel to the spindle, be sure to use a small-headed cap screw or something similar. Some wheels may tend to slide back and forth on the spindle, so if you want to minimize play, consider using nylon shims/washers on either side of the wheel.
