New 7 Wonders Puzzle
thingiverse
I've always been fascinated by traveling around the world and witnessing the 7 Wonders firsthand, although I've never had the chance to see them in person. Their unique and incredible architecture has deeply inspired me, leading me to create this 7 Wonders mashup. Color coding: Orange - Christ the Redeemer Yellow - Taj Mahal Red - El Castillo in Chichan Itza Blue - Petra, Jordan Purple - Great Wall of China Brown - Colosseum Green - Macchu Picchu Treat this build as a challenging puzzle and add each wonder to it as you visit them! Alternatively, print the two builds if you prefer fewer prints. I've also included an alternate build that showcases Taj Mahal more effectively. I invested considerable time figuring out how to combine these creations seamlessly. Initially, I created Stacking El Castillos, then decided to slice El Castillo and embed Petra into it, given its origins as a stone structure. Macchu Picchu was the most difficult to incorporate; I found an artist's rendition of what it might have looked like before its collapse into ruin at http://www.theredheadedtraveler.com/book-review-machu-picchu-guidebook-self-guided-tour/. All wonders were created in Autodesk Inventor and assembled in Tinkercad, except for Christ the Redeemer, which was created by JuanG3D. Check it out here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:744525. This project was incredibly enjoyable, and I learned how to use Inventor more efficiently. Overall, it was a fantastic learning experience, and I might attempt the original seven wonders next!
