New 3ds XL grip
thingiverse
Tired of all the same old grips that aren't comfortable for extended play times, this grip is exactly what you need. I borrowed the design from a similar one made for the Switch and tweaked it to fit my N3dsXL perfectly. To make room for ejecting games and pressing the power button, I removed some unnecessary material. Print this standing up - it's essential. My grip printed at 20% infill, with four outer shell layers and a 0.3mm layer height on my mk2s. The print took roughly six to seven hours to complete, then I finished it off with a few coats of plastidip for extra grip. If you have a clear case on your 3ds, try increasing the print size by about two to three percent to get the case to fit in as well. UPDATE 2/10/18 - I added an STL file for the older model 3DS XL.
