This is a supplement for Marc Carabelli's pop mech design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4770700) for the Mk. 2.1 Q-Pack proton pack (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4621554), and it will probably work with the default barrel too. The outer barrel right ear is left open to install the button and LED, and folks will usually wrap that with electrical tape or heatshrink to seal it off afterwards. If you're like me, I don't want to risk a "soft spot" where something might jam up or damage the electronics if the wand is dropped or bumped against something, so this plate can be used on the back to enclose everything solidly. You can use a little glue on the tabs to hold it in place, or still wrap/cover it for a screen accurate look. This will make the space very tight depending on the size of your LED and switch, so dry fit everything ahead of time.
