Neuschwanstein Castle is a breathtaking nineteenth-century Romanesque Revival palace perched atop a rugged hill overlooking the quaint village of Hohenschwangau near Füssen in southwestern Bavaria, Germany. Commissioned by Ludwig II of Bavaria as a serene retreat and an homage to Richard Wagner's genius, this majestic palace was constructed with Ludwig's own wealth, augmented by extensive borrowing rather than public funds from Bavaria. A scaled-down version of the castle was expertly crafted using SketchUp, awaiting only the final touch of being printed in full glory.
