Neuronal Stool is a collection of stools crafted through advanced generative design techniques. The process leverages a unique combination of 3D-printed sand molds and aluminum casting to push the boundaries of geometric complexity. The design engine takes into account the fluid dynamics of liquid aluminum during the casting process, incorporating this behavior into its geometric rules to generate intricate curves for each stool. By adjusting various parameters, the engine produces numerous design alternatives that are guaranteed to be feasible for production due to its consideration of material properties. Each generated design is then evaluated and organized by machine learning algorithms, presenting users with a diverse range of options to explore within the vast design space. This allows users to navigate through the numerous possibilities and discover unique stools tailored to their preferences. The Neuronal Stool measures 35 cm in width, 60 cm in height, and weighs approximately 8 kg.
