Neuron cross sections
thingiverse
A cutting tool designed to utilize laser technology, derived from high-resolution images of brain neurons taken via transmission electron microscopy. The image vividly depicts the defensive myelin sheath, highlighted by shaded areas, which securely envelops neurons. It is this very myelin that deteriorates in multiple sclerosis cases. Note: Three distinct power settings are available for use within this file: etch (outer circles), cut through (inner circles), and raster (shading).
