Networking Shelf
prusaprinters

This is a shelf I made to hold all my networking gear in my basement. It holds my NVR, WD Cloud drive, Modem, switches, and power supplies. The sides are printed out of PLA and haven't deformed from heat, even with a warm NVR and POE switch.

The slats are made of MDF trim from construction, but you could customize the width and thickness and to whatever material you would want to use. If you use fusion, I have those accessible as parameters in the Shelf Parameters file. I also pre-drilled the holes, and included measurements required to do so, but I just drilled through the actual mounting holes in the print itself.

I also used wood/drywall screws to hold the slats to the shelf sides. You just need to be careful that you don't over torque the screws and break off the shelf ears.

I printed it on a 12"x12" printer, and it would not fit on a standard form factor bed.

If you use fusion, and want to edit this yourself, just make a new folder and upload the f3z file into it. It will import all the file files separately, including the final drawing. Otherwise, you can edit the STEP file.
