This is a box to help make active T568B wiretaps. Wiretaps enable you to intercept data in order to assist in diagnosing internet connectivity issues. Wiretaps can also be very useful in understanding how data packets are transmitted between computers. Although this can be used for examining data, it is illegal to do so without consent. It's also important to keep in mind that the maximum speed the tap can operate at is 100 megabits per second. The only tool you need is a pair of scissors. Use the included diagram for help making the tap. The 8 cylinder caps are to pinch the wire ends together. You only need 4 caps to make the tap but you will need extras, I assure you. Plug the victim cable into the computer you want to intercept. Plug the WAN cable into your Internet modem. Plug either the Rx or the Tx cable into your computer. Use Wireshark to intercept the data. Note: Rx means receive and Tx means transmit.
