Network Topology: Bus

thingiverse

The Bus Topology: Description: Multiple devices, or nodes, share a single network cable, known as the bus. Advantages: Bus networks excel in small-scale configurations due to minimal packet collision risks. They offer the simplest method for connecting devices and peripherals. Additionally, they are often the most cost-effective topology available. Disadvantages: When the primary cable fails, the entire network collapses. Bus topologies become inefficient in larger network settings.
