Neti Pot - vase mode

thingiverse

Imagine this: You're stuck with major sinus congestion and realize your last Neti pot is stranded on a remote island on the other side of the world. Getting to the store here isn't an option, even if you felt like getting dressed - they probably wouldn't have a Neti pot anyway. Thingiverse, a potential savior, turns out not to be one. The models I found required things I didn't have: great overhangs (like the beautiful orb neti pot), post-processing time to glue halves together or sand down rough edges, or waiting for extraneous parts to print (the elephant-shaped one). I wanted something that would print quickly and smoothly without requiring constant monitoring. That's why I designed this. It printed out in about an hour, is watertight, and uses minimal plastic. It may not be the most beautiful thing, but it fits well in my nostrils despite a smaller nozzle than ideal. I managed to create it while medicated and under the influence of cold medicine, so I'm satisfied with how it turned out.
