This American Bookmark was created for Ultimaker's Design Engine Challenge Week 3. The challenge required designing a bookmark for a special person or a special book. The parameter cards for this challenge were “tween” and “evening”, while the expansion set parameter card was “The United States of America”. When I think of the USA, my first thought is “Home of Ultimaker Innovations”. But after that, I think of eagles, which is included to address this parameter. The bookmark design is an iconic eagle applied on a traditional bookmarker shape. What tween doesn't have a book about America? When printed in glow-in-the dark filament it will glow in the evening, satisfying this parameter.
