I absolutely adore my Netgear Orbi setup, featuring an incredibly powerful router paired seamlessly with its satellite counterpart. Unfortunately, it proved quite challenging to install the system within a wall, which necessitated a unique solution for optimal placement. To address this issue, I had previously installed high-level RJ-45 sockets in the wall, making it essential that I devise a custom wall mount for the router. The result is a beautifully crafted design that not only accommodates the router but also perfectly fits my satellite system. Two cleverly designed elements within the mount facilitate secure fastening of the router using zip-ties. Additionally, the edges were carefully raised to prevent accidental drops, while deliberately leaving some extra space in the mount allows for optimal airflow and prevents overheating.
