Netgear Nighthawk CM2000 Cable Modem Mount
thingiverse
Got my Netgear CM2000 Cable Modem, and for some reason it seems Netgear wanted it to look "sexy", which means it has a bunch of weird angles, and takes up a bunch of unnecessary space. I found a mount (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4838696) that did basically what I want, but one of the sides blocks the cable coax connector, and the bottom covers the entire bottom of the modem, which is the air inlet for the cooling of the unit. (To be fair, it's clearly marked as a "work in progress"). So I punched a hole in the side the coax connector to go through, and hollowed out the bottom so air could flow through. I also added a couple of "countersunk" screw holes for wall mounting. It's working well for me, as shown in the pictures here. I've also uploaded the Fusion360 file in case anyone wants to make more personalized changes. It takes a while to print, and I needed supports, but I'm happy with how it turned out.
