I started working with the GS308 8 port switch rackmount from REGISTEREDTHING's website, specifically the thingiverse model https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3690500. To accommodate the larger GS316 16 port switch, I modified it to fit seamlessly. Additionally, the design also fits perfectly on the GS116 16 port switch. I adjusted the left side of the design by stretching it slightly to ensure a snug fit for the switch. The mounting holes were moved and the switch opening was enlarged by 0.5mm for optimal performance. On the right side, I shortened the compartment and added two keystone module openings for extra functionality. The center compartment underwent significant changes as well, now using a 0.125 inch or 3mm shaft for the cover hinge. Excess material was carefully removed to minimize filament usage. To make printing easier, I provided an updated version of the compartment with integrated printing supports.
