Netgear 5 Port Switch - Side Mount Bracket

Netgear 5 Port Switch - Side Mount Bracket

thingiverse

Welcome to my first project post. As my list of ongoing projects grows, I find myself constantly seeking a reliable spot for my Netgear Switches. I usually have 2 or 3 on hand. In the past, I had a couple of suitable mounting spots, but Velcro was no longer meeting my needs. With my newfound passion for 3D printing, I decided to design and print a bracket that would suit my requirements. After a few attempts and significant learning, I arrived at this design, which works perfectly for me. While it's not flawless, it gets the job done. Having used many designs from the community, I thought it was time to share mine and hopefully someone out there can benefit from it as well. This design prints well, stands up to strength tests, and I've successfully printed it at both high and medium speeds. In fact, I've created four versions - this is the latest one, which includes minor adjustments that won't affect printing or fit tolerances. Once I complete the final print, I'll share some photos of the finished product. My previous attempt only had a single top bracket and wasn't snug enough for me, with the mount holes being a bit hard to access - both issues are resolved in this version. I did create two versions of this design, realizing that one had my initials on it (a bit arrogant, I know). So, I removed them and replaced them with "Netgear" instead.
