This 3D model originated with Sketchup 13 and was later converted to various other 3D formats. Native format is .skp, while 3ds Max scene is rendered using Vray 3.00. Container Layout facilitates open concept living areas in this design. Energy efficiency takes center stage as the building utilizes Net Zero Energy practices, including a 4K wind turbine and solar panels to power the home. Additionally, the Passive Solar Roof Design not only supports solar panels but also effectively blocks out summertime sun rays. Initially created for a client looking to design a container home, this CAD model soon lost its appeal when costs began to outweigh that of a Post Frame Building with more space. Upon reassessment, it was decided that a container home wasn't the best fit for their needs after all. Client input drove several aspects of this design, including incorporating a Rock Climbing Wall. As a direct result of client preferences, the Container's elevated placement was also realized. Windows enable effective natural air movement, turning the space into a functional Home Ventilation Feature and housing location for the Wind Turbine in the process.
