Net tying Kit
thingiverse
Here's a little kit for use when making nets for fishing, crafts, survival, and many other uses. It's perfect for creating all sorts of nets. The metal rod is held in place with a small flat piece that bolts to one side - this is just a blank hole, so you'll need to thread it with an M3 tap. You can flip the holder over to hold the net at the right angle for adding new rows. This kit requires: * An M6 x 25 hex head bolt * An M6 nut * A small M3 x 8-10 bolt (use a cap or button head) * A 2mm steel rod, 82mm long * Two or four countersink screws/bolts to hold down the bracket you use The M6 bolt head and nuts may be a tight fit depending on your printer settings. Warming them up should make installation easier and give a tight fit. This kit also comes with three sizes of needles and a selection of different mesh gauges for making different size nets. If you want any other needles or gauges, just let me know and I'll add them to the kit! I'm looking forward to seeing the nets you make with this kit. The supports are very minimal. The smallest needle has a small slot in the tip, but it may join when printed. Just snip through the join with a knife or side cutters to free it up and keep the gap tight so your thread doesn't come off the needle.
