Nest Thermostat Stand (Fits all Versions)

Nest Thermostat Stand (Fits all Versions)

Looked around at Nest stands but didn't want to spend £30 for a stand that was only one color, so designed my own based on their design with cable management. This design includes a route for the Nest cable; it fits through the middle and runs through a channel out the back meaning no gaping hole or hanging cable. Found this way better than having the cable run straight out the back and looks much much better than the majority of stands that are here. Included screw holes for some very short M3 screws for the Nest to attach to with threads, but on my model used double-sided tape instead; this works a treat instead of having to buy some screws. The stand is very stable; the only problem I've found is because PLA is quite slippery the stand can be easily pushed along polished wood or stone, some rubber pads on the bottom should fit it. Print settings I used: Layer height: 0.1mm (for a good quality finish and also screw holes if you use them) Infill: 20%, Grid Support: No Also printed in PLA; might need different settings for ABS or other material.
