Nest Thermostat larger frame
thingiverse
I had to swap out my outdated thermostat for a Nest thermostat and the standard plastic cover plate that's meant to conceal the old mounting location on the wall just wasn't large enough. I quickly created this thin plate, which turned out great - now it cleverly hides the paint line where my old thermostat used to sit. The Nest is significantly smaller than my previous model. It looks fine, but painting over the wall would've been the ideal solution, although that can wait for now. Hopefully, someone else will find this useful as well. Printer Settings Printer: FlashForge Creator Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: Infill: 75% Notes: I used PETG solid white for this part. I've found that PETG works best at 260c with a bed temp of 60c - it's my go-to setting. This is a pretty straightforward design, you can customize it to your liking and it should still turn out just fine. How I Designed It Solidworks
