The Nest Cam Outdoor has a notoriously difficult, permanent USB cable with a very large locking tip on it that requires a very large hole in order to pass through a wall/ceiling/soffit in order to have a clean installation. This split grommet was my solution to be able to close the hole.The grommet requires a ½" or 13mm hole which is smaller than the hole required to fit the nest USB cable but the flange on the grommet will still cover a large enough hole for the cable end. For my installation the locking cable end was cut off and replaced with a generic USB tip to plug into an outlet with integrated USB ports so a large hole was not required.Designed to be printed in TPU.
