Nespresso Venting / Bleeding TPU Adapter for Syringe

My nespresso machine has a habit of sucking the tank empty, after which the pump will not pump any water anymore, even after the tank is filled again.Some solutions to this can be found online, like pressing the lever backwards (didn't work for me). Another approach uses a shower hose to force water into the system. This seems dangerous while having the machine plugged in, and easily destroys the flow meter as well, as it is not made for positive pressure (ask me how i know …)This adapter is printed in TPU, and fits onto a standard 20ml syringe, or any other syringe with a 7mm tip. The other side should be a perfect fit for Nespresso/Delonghi Inissia or Citiz, EN 80 B models, and maybe many more, as the tank looks to be present on other models, too (Pixie?).Print with the larger part facing down (syringe side). Instructions for useFill the syringe with water, remove air bubbles. Plug the syringe into the adapter, and the other side into the machine, where the tank would sit normally. Apply some moderate pressure.Plug in the machine, turn it on. Then, press the large size button, the pump will run. While it runs, slowly force some water into the system. As mentioned, the flow meter does not cope with pressure very well - take care not to break it. A 20ml syringe should empty in about 4 seconds, give or take.Before the syringe is completely empty, stop the pump by pressing the button again to prevent air ingress. Refill the syringe and repeat the process, until the pump sounds normal again. This should take about three fillings using a 20ml syringe. Re-seat the (filled!) tank, and check if the machine operates normally again.
