Nespresso Lattissima Container Seal

I have an original Lattissima Touch from 2013 and I'm not sure if that design is still relevant in newer machines. Please let me know if it works for you and what the issues are if it doesn't. Printing advice: Print upside down with support at the center. Choose a higher resolution since some areas need to be quite delicate to ensure a proper fit, mine was 0.12mm. Use a support interface/roof with 0.2mm distance to make removing easy without much effort or post-processing. Alternatively, print as shown and put support blockers in that little area where it slots in. Maybe that is the better solution, I haven't tried it yet. I used a Brim since the bed contact is pretty limited. Nozzles larger than 0.4mm will have issues printing the slot wall properly. Also make sure your slicer doesn't omit that wall, if it's too thin for your nozzle it will completely ignore that wall (at least Cura does). I created an insert to stop the capsule container from leaking due to the huge cutout in the back. It should clear the protrusion from the machine just fine, and I've enhanced wall thickness on the outside walls to increase sturdiness. It's a tight squeeze but it fits. You'll want to glue or acetone-weld it in place after making sure it fits fine for you, or resort to silicone sealing it since the 3D-printed piece alone won't completely make it watertight. I created that part because my container was overflowing when filled with more than 5 capsules and the corresponding flushes to clear coffee out of the nozzle. To my knowledge, the Lattissima is the only machine without a separate drip-tray under the capsule container or a fully closed back, so just a centimeter or two will pour water from the container into the enclosure. While that can be cleaned, it's a nasty and annoying thing. I know Nespresso couldn't avoid this due to how plastic molding works, so here's my fix. It's a niche problem with a niche solution. TL;DR: Fixes the overflowing of the container when too many capsules and too much water from subsequent flushes are in there. Seal/glue it in to make it watertight. Let me know of your results!
