Nespresso Latissima Bottom Drop-Stop for bigger Cups
prusaprinters

Bigger cups are a challenge for almost every nespresso machine.

So with the Latissima. I redesigned the drop catch tray to give 1 cm more clearance.

You can use the original metal plate or my printable replacement-plate. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1399520

Feel free to remix and leave me a comment! Non-Commercial!

UPDATE 2016-03-18: The last print came out as desired and works very well. Probably i will improve the design to look "better" as i have time. For now i am happy with it and hope it will make your life easier, too!

Print Settings

Printer:

CTC Dual (Sailfish x.7)

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

0.2 mm

Infill:

10% Hex

Notes:

Print time is 5-6 hours @60 mm/s.
I recommend to print in ABS and giving it a flush with acetone afterwards. That seals it up and makes cleaning easy. My first PLA prints started to disintegrate very fast.
Post-Printing

After printing, glue the two buttons into their corresponding wholes at the bottom of the print. They grab into the grooves of the machine and support guidance.

Category: Kitchen & Dining
