Install some motion sensors inside a kitchen door near the coffee maker. You can secure them with a screw or even better, two strips of double-sided adhesive foam tape. Just lift the lower cup and pull it out. On a 20x20 cm platform, rotate the sensor 45 degrees around its Z-axis to fit it perfectly on the bed.
