NES pi
thingiverse
A revamp of TBSkinner's piNES design was carried out due to the inconvenience caused by USB outlets facing backward and power cable leading forward. As I intend to use it for emulation, the controller will face me while the power is at the back. However, this modification has led to blocking the RCA video output and AUX output; nonetheless, HDMI users are unaffected. If needed, I may rearrange it for accessibility. Post-printing realization revealed that the design was too small for comfortable HDMI cable fitting, necessitating an upscale to allow more space. The revised model still fits a standard Replicator 2 print area but requires minimal sanding/filing. If possible, I'll address this issue. My parts were printed with two shells and 15% infill, as I grappled with warping problems; thus, top and bottom halves were printed on a raft to mitigate the issue. All parts can be positioned without requiring supports.
