Nerys Vase
thingiverse
I mastered extruding a revolve in Fusion 360. This is my first attempt at accomplishing this. This vase bears an unsettling resemblance to ZYYX's vase. It's not a copy, and their design preceded mine. I created this last week; they designed theirs in 2015. The similarity is astonishing, with the two designs being eerily alike. I printed both vessels, and I drew this design freehand. The universe can be an enigmatic place. Print in vase/spiral mode. I personally print using a 1.2mm nozzle at a 0.2mm layer height, except for the first three layers, which I do at 0.6mm layer height with concentric spiral infill. Then, I switch to vase mode at 0.2mm for a super clean finish and extremely strong walls that are 1.2mm thick (very tough). You'll need to seal the bottom to hold water when using a 1.2mm nozzle size. However, printing with a 0.4mm nozzle should be easy enough to achieve a watertight design.
