I conceptualized a revolutionary new bass design inspired by the intricate patterns of nerve cells. To achieve this unique aesthetic, I created a 3D model that would accurately replicate the dot inlays on the neck's surface. After printing the model, I crafted a mold from it and used a vibrant resin to create a replica with limitless color possibilities. By embedding this replica into a cylindrical matrix, I could then precision-cut and polish it to reveal an array of stunning, one-of-a-kind dot inlays that now adorn my bass's neck.
