Nerph Bow
thingiverse
This is an incredibly fun little bow that actually shoots really far! The idea was taken from the Zing Fire Tek bow, but I took it to the next level by designing my own arrow, which is still not as good as the original Zing arrows, available here: https://www.amazon.com/Zing-AM169-6-Extra-Arrows/dp/B00JYCE3ZI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1505758623&sr=8-1&keywords=zing+arrows. To build this amazing bow, you will need to purchase the following materials: * 3 feet of elastic tubing with a 1/8" outer diameter and 1/16" inner diameter (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H4MTBSE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&th=1&psc=1) * 2 M4 screws that are 30 mm long * 2 M4 nuts The great news is that everything prints without supports if you orient it just right. You will need to print 4 bushings, then thread the screws through the appropriate holes and into the bushings. The bushings will allow the elastic tubing to slide out as it stretches. Cut two lengths of elastic tubing about 13-14 inches long, then feed one end down through the back of the bow so that it comes out the other end. Pass it around the middle divider and feed it back through to the back. Finally, tie three knots on top of each other at each end to make a nice big knot that catches in the slot.
