Nero/Domitian
myminifactory
Domitian ruled Rome as emperor from 81 to 96, a period marked by his strict dominance over the government. His iron-fisted leadership put him directly at odds with the Senate, whose authority he significantly reduced. Located in Munich's Antike am Königsplatz museum is an exhibit featuring Domitian. The Bavaria antiquities collection showcases pieces from Greece, Etruria and Rome, with a diverse array of sculptures displayed across town at the Glyptothek. Local works are on display in a separate institution, while ancient Egyptian artifacts have their own dedicated space.
