Nerf Vulcan EBF25 Li-on Battery Modification

The Nerf Vulcan's operation depends on 6 D-type batteries that can be hard to find and costly, especially if rechargeable. To overcome this issue, a mod has been created using 3 cheaply available 18650 Li-On rechargable batteries from Ebay. Although the Li-On cells may run out of charge faster than D cells, they are fast to recharge. This modification does not require any changes in the original battery compartment. The 3 Li-On cells provide a slightly higher voltage/power (11V) compared to 6 D cells' 9V, but it is considered safe for the motor. However, use this at your own risk as no responsibility is taken. For ease of printing without supports, parts can be glued together using acetone. Alternatively, a one-piece print design is provided. Electrical connection is required and is done using a soldering iron with a round tin can part for the bottom and a nail top, both connected by a wire. Supporting parts are optional but add extra stability.
