Introducing a functional GRENADE AIRSOFT PAINTBALL NERF V1. It triggers on ground contact by pulling the pin. It has 3 compartments that can be refilled from below by removing the filler cap. The firing mechanism uses 3 torsion springs, allowing the grenade to be used ad infinitum, with the only expense being ammunition. See the location of the springs in the 3rd photo, circled in red. You'll need to fill the trigger with sand to make it more sensitive. It weighs about 167g of plastic at 65% filling. Be careful not to throw the grenade on hard materials or it won't last long. Use with safety goggles.
