Nerf Turret Shooter https://tinkersprojects.com/ The turret uses normal nerf disks that can be bought from Aliexpress for cheap, utilizing 2 hobby motors running on 12V to shoot the disks. A 9g hobby RC servo is used to push the disks into the motors for shooting. The system is entirely controlled by a custom PCB to keep the electronics neat and easily mounted. The controller can be found here: https://www.tindie.com/products/williambailes/nerf-turret-shooter-controller/ I aimed to create something that could shoot nerf darts or disks when triggered. I had been searching for a nerf blaster to modify, but couldn't find one. Using a nerf dart blaster would have worked, but shooting through disks or balls seemed more interesting to play with. One day, I simply ordered some disks to see what I could do with them. After a few tests, this design emerged. I attempted to make the shooter a desktop turret with a round body that can fit into a tube. After making the turret, I thought it looked cool without the tube.
