This is a direct swap for the Nerf brand Tech Target blaster's barrel.\n\nThe standard replacement barrel works seamlessly with standard foam darts, simply push them into place from the front end. This setup performs well with the original spring, but using an upgraded spring is not advised as it can cause damage to the standard darts due to high pressure buildup. The standard barrel is also compatible with half-length darts, though a ramrod is required for complete insertion. With the stock spring in place, velocities of about 80fps can be expected.\n\nThe CPVC insert compatible barrel is specifically designed to house a CPVC barrel replacement. This configuration is recommended when using half-length darts and an upgraded spring. A 4-inch CPVC barrel is optimal, resulting in velocities of approximately 140fps.
