Nerf Takedown Speed Loaders and Mount

This is a speed loader design for the NERF Takedown based on Andrew Overby's speed loaders and mounts for the Kronos. This speed loader holds 8 HIRs. Initially, I tried just to make the main body of the original design longer, but I was limited by the maximum print height of 210 mm of my printer. So I scrapped the original cap and designed an extension part with the cap already integrated that can be friction fitted onto the main body. You could glue it on, but I found the friction to be sufficient. Attaching the cap onto the main body takes some skill, but is manageable (when I can do it, you can too). There is a version of the cap for 9 HIRs in case someone designs a new magazine follower, as it was the case with the Kronos. The slide remains the original one. Some sanding on the inside of the extension part might be required to make it fit. I modified the coupler to the breech/magazine door at the bottom of the main body to fit the Takedown. Again, some sanding might be required, but since it fits my painted Takedown, it should be fine without. The mount is modified as well. I extended the arms to the side so that the attached speed loaders have more clearance to the shell. I painted my Takedown and did not want the speed loaders to wear off the paint over time. I attached sights to the front and back mount. Then, I made another version without sights and designed separate sights for Rival rails because I wanted to be able to remove the mounts without losing the sights. I guess you could just print one mount, but the long rear rail is begging to attach another mount for stability. All mounts have a small borehole so you can lock the mount onto the rail with a small M2*6 screw. I really like Andrew Overby's speed loaders. I have them on all my Kronos (except those converted to short darts), so it was common sense to modify his design to fit the Takedown.
