Nerf Takedown Pump Grip (Glue on solution)
thingiverse
This grip is an improvement over the original one for the Nerf TAKEDOWN. You print both sides and attach them to the original grip using epoxy. The two boreholes on top of the screws allow you to still open up the shell by unscrewing it. Make sure not to glue both parts together or you won't be able to take off the grip. I created this pump grip because the stock one was terrible. When I put a K25 into my TAKEDOWN, things got even worse. The original design is ehdrien's, and I liked his Kronos Shotgun Parts when I printed them for my RIVAL SHOTGUN. So I thought it would be great if Nerf's shotgun reshell of the KRONOS had ehdrien's pump grip. I modified the design to fit onto the stock grip. I made this a glue-on solution because the original grip is much smoother on the inside than any 3D printed grip could be. This mod combines the awesome ergonomics of a 3D printed outer structure with the smoothness of an injection molded slide mechanism. Additionally, this pump grip doesn't make that croaking sound 3D printed pump grips usually make when priming. Initially, I left one of the yellow locks inside, which looks like a C and prevents the trigger from being used when the breech is not forward. When I was priming my TAKEDOWN, it was hard to pull the grip back for the last couple of millimeters until the spring catch engaged. After removing that lock, priming became much easier. Maybe the lock interfered with the plunger or maybe it was just a coincidence. If you have a stronger than stock spring and experience this problem, this might help.
