Nerf Stryfe Expanded Battery Door

thingiverse

This is a custom battery door upgrade for the Nerf Stryfe.\r\n\r\nTo print this part, orient it so that the exterior side faces down on the build plate.\r\n\r\nThe design includes space for a lithium-ion cell and offers approximately 14mm more vertical clearance than the original component.\r\n\r\nInitial test prints were successful, as shown in attached photos. The custom door fits seamlessly with the stock captive screw.\r\n\r\nThis part was printed on a Prusa i3 Mk2 using supports, 100% infill, and six or more perimeter layers in PLA material. A 0.4mm nozzle was used with a layer height of 0.2mm.\r\n\r\nEven with 100% infill, printing time remains relatively low at approximately one hour and thirty minutes. Thin walls designed to match the width of the printer's traces ensure optimal results.
