I'm seeking to boost the voltage of my stryfe while retaining the use of AA Alkaline batteries. To achieve a 9-volt output, I must connect the batteries in series. If my goal is merely to increase current, however, wiring them in parallel and incorporating four dummy batteries will yield a stable 6-volt reading.
