This replacement barrel is engineered to supersede the original orange tip of a Nerf Star Lord Quad Blaster. It prints in two components to simplify the process and avoid trapped support structures; the cap covers the underslung barrel section from view. These customized barrel tips prevent the gun from firing Nerf darts, yet still permit it to open and close. This retains the original Nerf gun's functionality, allowing users to easily maintain their firearms. The same exact screws removed from the original orange tips can be utilized to securely attach these replacements. The barrel features two 5mm holes designed to accommodate LEDs, offering users the creative freedom to add their own custom lighting effects. Effective ways to illuminate the barrel include filling it with clear resin to fully diffuse the light, or cutting and sanding a piece of clear acrylic to fit snugly inside. These replacement models were originally designed for printing on my Makergear M2 3D printer at a high resolution of 100 micron (.1mm). They perfectly align onto the nerf gun right out of the print bed. However, depending on your specific print settings, minor sanding may be required to achieve a flawless fit.
