Nerf Spinner Target Remixed for Nerf Balls
thingiverse
My trusty Nerf Spinner Target holds its own against Nerf Darts, but falters when faced with Nerf Balls. Adding 3 layers of paper CD Labels on each side greatly enhances performance, yet the weak point remains where the CD is attached to the Spinner. In the picture, you'll notice the original 3-inch design on the right and the remixed 2-inch version on the left. Observe how much farther the CD fits into the Spinner's slot. To address this issue, I've modified the design so that a CD with 6 layers of paper CD Labels (3 per side) can fit comfortably in the widened and deepened CD slot. This modification has eliminated the frequent breakage caused by the original attachment method. Take a look at the picture to see how I secured the CD in place using Hot Melt Glue on the Spinner. Additionally, I apply a generous amount of Hot Melt Glue to one end of each CD before attaching it to the Spinner. This ensures that when the CD finishes spinning after several hits, it always returns to its upright position, ready for the next shot!
