Pistol Grip Conversion for Nerf Rival Takedown XX-800 Because many users prefer a more traditional pistol grip, this conversion is designed to replace the blunderbuss style horizontal grip that comes with the original. Drop-in shell replacement parts are included, eliminating the need for cutting or hardware modification. The existing screws from the original grip parts can be reused. Five printable components make up this conversion: GripR (right side) GripC (center) GripL (left side) ConnectLug x2 (snap-in lugs to ensure proper alignment of grip parts) A 200x200mm print area is required for successful printing. Additionally, the design can be printed without support material if your printer has a bridge capability of at least 25mm. Note: Users may encounter "elephant's foot" or first layer squish print artifacts, which can result in uncomfortable ridges that require sanding to smooth out. Update 12/2020: A sling mount has been added to the rear of the design. The license has also been updated to CC-attribution. Derivative and remix projects are encouraged. This design can serve as a starting point for creating a shoulder stock attachment, and a STEP file is available for users who wish to build upon it.
