Efficient Air Restrictor for the Pathfinder Blaster makes dry-firing much safer and quieter, without sacrificing firing performance -blaster no longer sounds like it's exploding when you dry fire at the end of a magazine, a very common thing to lose track of how many rounds are left... works by increasing the surface area of the valve flap, but simultaneously increasing the valve travel distance. So its more effective when closed, but doesn't close so soon that it hurts firing performance. Hardware needed: Reuse the spring and screw from the original air restrictor valve. -note spring should be mounted flipped, so the large end faces forward now. installation tip: use a long piece of 17/32 aluminum or brass from your nerf rebarreling supplies to friction fit the Flap onto the valve stem from inside the plunger, then carefully reach in with a long screwdriver to tighten down, careful to avoid shaking it out of position. Strongly Recommend printing in PETG. the detailed shape of the valve shaft required an upright orientation, which is a strength disadvantage. using a less anisotropic material like PETG will help to counter breakage. -alternately you might attempt to print the valve stem laying flat for strength, but this will require supports and you must be careful of the surface quality to ensure smooth operation.
