Nerf Regulator Pusher Depth Adjuster

Nerf Regulator Pusher Depth Adjuster

Many individuals, including myself, experience problems with the Nerf Regulator and Hyperfire belt feed mechanism failing to catch darts. This replacement part enhances the depth and rigidity of the belt feed mechanism by modifying the stock component inside the pusher. Four models are included in this design. The shortest model has identical dimensions to the original part, providing a direct replacement for those seeking to maintain stock specifications. Measurements were taken using a precision caliper. In contrast, the largest model is 1.5mm taller, exerting greater pressure on darts and minimizing belt slack. Additional models offer .5mm and 1mm depth increases, allowing users to experiment with optimal settings tailored to their specific darts and blasters. Extensive testing of the largest model in my Nerf Regulator revealed improved performance compared to the stock setup, eliminating dart shredding issues. Although I have not tested this part in my Hyperfire, preliminary observations suggest that the belt-feeder design may be identical, warranting further investigation. Notably, another designer previously shared a similar part on Thingiverse for the Hyperfire, but it was never thoroughly tested. In light of this, I decided to upload my design, hoping it might offer better results for those who experience difficulties with their belt feed mechanisms.
