Nerf Recon-Stock Supports (Pre-Recall)

While searching for new Nerf shoulder stock options, I stumbled upon Keidora's support reinforcement parts and was immediately drawn in by their charm. However, my Recon model presented a significant challenge: its long plunger tube would telescope in and out, causing the tube to bump into the back of the front supports and preventing it from priming properly. Rather than risking damage with hand tools, I decided to modify the model for a better fit. Firstly, I removed the back wall on the front parts to accommodate the plunger tube's movement. However, this left them somewhat fragile, so I incorporated additional bracing features to reinforce their structure. Secondly, my printer was experiencing support and overhang issues at the time, which prompted me to fill in the indents and resolve those problems. Lastly, the forward screws posed a risk of interfering with the plunger tube, so I opted for a simpler solution: mirroring each side and securing them with hot glue instead. This modification may not be the most sophisticated solution, but it still performs as expected.
