I loved the original design, except that I had no M4 screws at the time of printing, and even then the arms had just a bit too much play. This solution fixes both issues seamlessly. It snaps perfectly into place over both pieces, resulting in an incredibly solid experience. Note: The other essential components such as the barrel and grip are required for this to function correctly. Note: The holes should fit M2 screws precisely, or when widened slightly, M3. Changes: -Splitting the model into two parts proved to be a fantastic idea. I'm sticking with the rail version since it allows the pieces to screw together securely, eliminating the primary point of failure – the arms snapping as the entire part was stretched over the blaster. This also enables an insert for the rail to function more efficiently. -Added a tactical rail version, sourced from bitsandbooks -Made the printing process significantly easier -Strengthened weak points. My original model developed a small crack on the cage that required heating and rejoining to repair. -Rounded some of the top parts of the cage after realizing it also makes the whole system top-heavy in a somewhat uncomfortable way. Update 8/26/2017: Made some adjustments, very much not abandoned. Currently printing left and right sides with a screw port in place now, hoping for the best!
