<p>Experimental 'choked' barrel for the Rebelle Messenger</p> <p>the concept is to have a relatively loose fit around the dart for the majority of the barrel.</p> <p>but a tighter sealing choke section at the front.</p> <p>This should have similar benefits of a tight barrel seal, but with less friction.</p> <p>In particular, fdm 3d printing usually causes excess friction from the layer grooves; this is an attempt to mitigate that effect.</p> <p>Should Not be Used unless the Messenger has first been upgraded to a heavier spring and improved plunger head seal. The stock spring is not suitable for a tighter barrel fit.</p> <p>Note: Dimensional Accuracy</p> <p>this was modeled under the assumption that FDM printing will 'shrink' the inside diameters of circles.</p> <p>While the Mesh model has a choke ring diameter of about 12.5mm. the Physical dimension should come to about 12.3mm.</p> <p>Different Printers/Filaments may need to use Dimensional Compensation slicer settings.</p> Category: Toy & Game Accessories
