Nerf rapidstrike battery tray expander with barrel attach
thingiverse
This is a Nerf RapidStrike Battery Tray Expander with included Barrel Extender. It prevents you from losing the option to add a standard Nerf screw-on barrel when you need a larger battery in your RapidStrike. I designed this piece to fit big batteries like 3S 3300mAh 65-130C, which can power two Titan Cronus X2 motors. The piece is a perfect friction fit with all necessary holes for adding normal screws and two new screws to the side of the RapidStrike barrel connector. Depending on the weight of your added barrel, you might need to use them. For printing, there's also a cut-up version available that makes it much easier. Combine both halves with superglue afterwards, but remember to print with supports, even though you'll need fewer than before. Print at 30% infill for strength. Personally, I like to print it in one piece with lots of supports because my printer tends to bend flat surfaces, making gluing impossible. Have fun! ***Version 2 uploaded, offering more space for a bigger battery and several other improvements. ***Version 3 uploaded, fixing the barrel connector problem. ***Version 4 uploaded with a much smoother and better barrel connector designed by Aydelott.
