Nerf Modulus ECS-10 Clip Stock Brace
thingiverse
The Nerf Clip Stock gets a crucial fix to stop it from wobbling around. The solution comes in the form of a Modulus ECS-10 modification that addresses this problem. To get the spacers to snap into place properly, you need to pay attention to the order in which they're inserted. Since the end ones overlap with the shell pieces, getting it right can be a fun little puzzle. One key advantage of this stock upgrade is its compatibility with Nerf Springers like the Retaliator and Rampage. The hole drilled through the middle matches up perfectly with the buffer tube on these models, making for a rock-solid installation. There are also four small holes at the corners that can be used to install 3.5mm steel rods for added stiffness. These rods are commonly found in bicycle fender legs and work well in this application. However, they're not necessary for a solid fit. It's worth noting that this modification has only been tested on the updated stock with triangular orange beams. There's an older version with cylindrical beams that hasn't been compared, so it's unclear how well this mod will work with that design. If anyone tries to install it on an older model, please share your experience in the comments.
